NTL's development and deployment of their new billing system for over 3.3 million customers required proven expertise in resilient systems.

A LightNet expert undertook the design and implementation of a high availability Windows 2003 server cluster solution for this mission critical application. The data management technologies involved extended from the SQL Server layer through to the configuration of the HP EVA 5000 SAN system.

Orange

LightNet  engineers were responsible for the data management layer of the managed desktop environment at Orange. Consisting of over 30 SQL servers and supporting over 15,000 users over 25 sites.

We wrote tools using batchscript and VBscript for the administration teams. These tools were used to fully manage the entire environment from a single site. These included utilities to populate the domain, manage user accounts and security groups. Reporting tools were developed for querying the domain and systems management databases

Threadneedle

Threadneedle were experiencing issues with performance on there SQL platform and data management. We undertook an audit of the current SQL database infrastructure and provided a detailed report of issues found and recommendations to fix. Threadneedle subsequently took immediate steps to correct the problems resulting in a far more efficient system.
